Candidate preparation

Know the location, the task and the first-day expectations before you begin.

Understand the work

Ask about the duties, shift pattern, assignment duration and reporting point. Explain relevant experience honestly and identify any task for which you need further instruction. A successful start depends on a shared understanding of the work.

Prepare for arrival

Confirm the address, arrival time, contact person and clothing or protective equipment requirements. Allow enough time to reach the correct entrance. Keep the assignment details available so you can check them before leaving.

Keep in contact

Raise attendance issues as early as possible and use the agreed contact route. If the actual work differs from the assignment description, ask for clarification before proceeding. Site-specific safety instructions remain essential throughout the assignment.
